Our school football team played their final match in this year's St Pat's Community Cup tournament. We qualified for the final by beating Loreto NS last week. Today we played Canal Way Educate Together NS. Our team had their best performance of the year in this final. Team captain, Ava Malone, scored an amazing 5 goals. Ailbhe Ní Chonaráin, Ava Courtney and Emily Hall scored a goal each on our way to an 8-1 victory. Myself and Ms Scully are very proud of all our squad members. A well deserved ice-cream was had by all on our way back to school.
